Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Mural?

A painting or other work of art executed directly on a wall.

Does my wall have to be prepared before hand?

Yes and no, If the wall or wallpaper is in good condition, no special preparation will be required. if the mural is to be painted onto brick we will need to seal the brick work and give it a undercoat/primer. If the wall has any damage (slight cracks, holes etc) these will need to be repaired before hand and an undercoat applied. This will obliviously add to the completion time. Check out the here

How long does it take to paint a mural?

Well depending on the size of the wall area, the detail of the design, and the location of your home or mural.  Most murals take approx 2 – 3 days to paint but could be longer.

What type of paints do you use?

I only use high quality paints, varnishes and sealants. which are durable, quick drying, waterproof and safe especially in a small persons room. All the paints I use keep their colour for years.

What areas can be painted on?

Most surfaces inside and out can be painted on, the only difference is how they are prepared before painting. Examples of areas are:

Garage doors, shutters, playhouses, storages PVC, pagodas, decks, wooden fences and gates

Does the mural have to be painted on a wall?

No. I can paint any design on MDF panels to be fitted, but will require measurements and where the location will be. Or If your prefer something less permanent, then maybe a piece on a canvas would work for you. check out some examples here.

I know what I would like but cant visualise it. Can you help me figure that out?

Yes not a problem just let me know what your ideas are and what room you want your wall painting in and ill take it from there. All designs are custom to you and all available to review. just contact me here and we will discuss your ideas.
